I then decided the other week that I wanted a more muted lip colour, But nothing to light/pale so I started the hunt, I looked at your typical nudes, but they either made no difference, were too beigey or made me look like a dead person, but then, browsing superdrug the other week, I came across a new Barry M lipstick shade called 'Everything's Rosie', It's basically a nude red. I know, that makes no sense, but just go with me on this, It's such a nice, lively colour that just brightens your face up, whist having that subtle 'no, I'm not wearing anything, my lips are just this lovely colour' nudeness to it. You'll hopefully see what I mean in the pictures
The actual quality of the lipstick is one that I have a love hate relationship with, i'll start with the cons first, being matte, it has a tendency to cling to dry patches which also means that when it fades off, you really need to wipe off what ever is left and then apple some more.
The pros of this lipstick though are that the pigmentation is really good, and it does stick around for a while with no bleeding or feathering. They also have a few shades in a moisturising collection which usually come in a pink bullet rather then black, and these are also really nice, especially if you do not like matte lip colour.
It's also really rather cheap at £4.49, And I really do recommend picking some up to try! :)
Have any of you tried Barry M lip paints? Let me know if you have and what you thought of them :)

Kate Moss for Rimmel had a fab nude lipstick which you can sometimes get on Fragrance Direct for £1.99! Shade 26, it's a lovely nudey colour and I found it to be quite long lasting and not give you dreaded corpse lips! X
ReplyDeleteOoooh, I'll have a look for it, thank you! :) x
