Face of the day | Subtle, affordable, brown smokey eye. ♥

I really like doing posts like these, but I hardly ever change up my make up. So I'm going to force my self to wear different styles of make, get out of my comfort circle and do some more varied face of the day posts.


Today is a pretty simple one, as I'm sure you can guess from the title, it's a very wearable, subtle, warm brown smokey eye.

 The products I used are;
MUA heaven and earth palette here
MUA single eyeshadow in shade 2
Collection lasting colour gel liner in brown here
Maybelline Falsies mascara black drama here

I used the paler shade circled all over the bottom half of my lid, with the darker colour blended slightly inter the outer corner, and then blended all the lines, I put a small small amount of the white shadow in the inner corner of my eye to brighten it up a bit.

I then lined my upper lid with the collection gel liner and winged out at the end.

I curled my lashes and then put a few coats of mascara on to give me some nice long, fluttery lashes.

And here's the overall finished look :)

I absolutely love the MUA eyeshadow palettes, I really do think that they are amazing quality for the price, and they have so many different ones all for £4 for the 12 shadow pallets, which is amazing. Definitely pick one up and try it out! :)
