Ever since that first time seeing them all nicely shaped and dark I was hooked, I got my self a good pair of tweezers and my own tinting kit and just went from there.
Here are my brows with nothing in them
It was a few months after, and a good few YouTube videos watching the difference it makes, that I decided I wanted to start filling them in, so I took to the shops! I got the odd brow pencil from Rimmel and Eylure, but they just weren't giving the right effect that I wanted, I took a deep breath, apologised to my bank account and took to browns. The first, and really only thing that caught my eye was Benefits Brow zings.
I LOVE this stuff. It's a powder and a wax in one little compact that comes with two small brushes, an angled and a rounded one, a small pair of tweezers and a mirror. Firstly with the brushes, I don't think I've ever used the rounded brush, I manage quite fine with just the angled brush or one of my Real Techniques brushes. What I love about this compact though is that you can use either powder, wax or both to get your desired look, I personally prefer to use both and find that it lasts all day. I literally just get my brush, dip it in the powder then the wax and just do my brows how ever I'm feeling that day, be it thick, lush Lily Collins style brows, or more sleek but still bold, Katy Perry style brows. I just find it so versatile and easy to use, I definitely think it is worth the £23.50.
Here are my brows filled in with Benefits Brow Zings in dark
It comes in three colours Light, Medium and Dark. When I got mine, I had black hair so got it in the dark shade, Although now my hair is red, I think medium would be more suitable, but I still work my dark shade.
I'm really tempted by benefits brow pencil and newly released Gimme Brow, So if you've tried either, let me know what you think :) and if you've tried or want to try Brow zings :)
